Prior to his retirement on 30 June 2021, he was the Group Director, Financial Services of DRB-HICOM Berhad. He was appointed as Principal Officer of DRB-HICOM Berhad in January 2016. He was also responsible for the overall financial management of the Group with focus on Accounting, Reporting, Taxation and Risks & Sustainability. He has a wide range of experience in Financial Reporting/Audit, Corporate Governance, Taxation, Debt & Equity Restructuring, Reorganisation of companies, Risk Management and M&A.
In his over 30 years of experience in various positions, he was a Member of Group Management Committee, Corporate Governance Committee, Risk & Sustainability Committee, Cyber Security Committee and Group Strategy Review Committee.
He is currently serving as director in the following organizations:-
(i) PROTON Holdings Berhad and its group companies (including the alternate Chairman of Board Audit
Committee).
(ii) Labuan Reinsurance (L) Ltd. (Member of Audit Committee, Remuneration and Nomination Committee and
Board Oversight Committee for MFRS 17). |
