Began his career in 1974 as a Principal Assistant Director in the Malaysian Public Services Department (PSD). After a 10-year stint in PSD, he served in various capacities in several government ministries and agencies such as the Malaysian Highway Authority, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of National Unity and Social Development. Appointed as the Deputy Director General of the National Anti-Drugs Agency n 1996. His last posting before retiring was as the Deputy Secretary General 1 in the Ministry of Home Affairs. |
